Boundaries — When, Where, and How to Draw the Line
The nightlife is a place to explore and discover not just ourselves, but our limits as well. Led by aequa, this workshop will explore the theme of boundaries, discussing questions like: When is it appropriate to say no? When we decide to say no, what are the best ways to say it clearly? On the other side, when is the time to push through with our energy and use our privilege to benefit those with less? What are the roles of self-care versus community care in effective activism?
This workshop is interactive: Through these discussions, we hope to find answers to these questions, and to build a support system for the community through interpersonal support, learning, and education.
