Augmented Reality invites us to blend the digital sphere into the analog world. New technologies invite new opportunities to shift our viewpoint, explore exciting vantage points, and understand each other through novel experiences.
As a 24/7 global support network, Digi-Gxl is a community of womxn, trans, and non-binary people working with technology like Augmented Reality (AR) to expand their horizons and create ground-breaking animations and art. Join them for a meet up on how to explore the world through a new lens with Spark AR.
Digi-Gxl members will provide guidance and support to participants who want to use Spark AR software to create AR artworks of their own.
This event is open to everyone: Join us as we share knowledge and skills in a welcoming environment. Please remember to bring your laptop if you want to work hands-on with the Digi-Gxl team at NIGHT EMBASSY.
The event is free of charge, but capacity is limited. Admission is only guaranteed with a digital ticket, so be sure to download yours today to save your spot. The exhibition and bar is open from 18:00 – 23:00 every week day.
CO:QUO is a collective of individuals co-creating to address status-quos that have negative impacts on society. We curate diverse programming featuring art, emerging tech, music, installations, events, workshops, and panel discussions.
Digi-Gxl is an inclusive, 24/7 global community and support network championing womxn, trans folk and non-binary people who specialize in 3D design and animation. As a community we offer each other technical guidance, industry and business advice, and general creative support. We collaborate, organise meet-ups, skill shares, and curate shows together.
CO:QUO x Digi-Gxl aim to offer an inclusive and safe space for all. Please be mindful of the following at our events:
- No racism, sexism, homophobia, xenophobia, or any form of intolerance will be permitted.
- Always ask pronouns, never assume. If in doubt, use ‘they/them’ but please prioritize asking the person for their pronouns.
- If at any point you feel unsafe or experience any kind of harassment, notify staff immediately.
