When we talk about diversity on the dance floor, what do we mean? Is it the DJs and selectors, or the crowd that comes to see them? And what about behind the scenes—what role does diversity play for bookers, agencies, and clubs themselves?
This panel discussion will tackle the topic and open a dialogue about diversity on the dance floor and behind the scenes in the music industry. It will examine what companies can do to create a positive impact in the industry, and what work still needs to be done in terms of diversity and inclusion. It’s a perspective informed by those who know it best: Clubs, artists, agency representatives, event planners, and business insiders.
The event is open to everyone, and will provide an overview of how the industry can diversify itself both internally and externally. Does this mean a new approach to booking? Join us to find out, and to discuss what goes through the mind of an artist when they see who else is on a lineup, what improvements we have seen over the past few years, and what’s in the future of club culture.
The event is free of charge, but capacity is limited. Admission is only guaranteed with a digital ticket, so be sure to download yours today to save your spot. The exhibition and bar is open from 18:00 – 23:00 every week day.
