We explored new directions in Nightlife and created safe spaces for our communities by providing a platform for our four Ambassadors of The Night to curate their creative residency programmes.

Reinforcing our unwavering backing of sub-cultures and the creation of spaces for unbridled self-expression, we reintroduced Freiraum to The Night.

With ongoing guidance, mentorship and production support our Ambassadors of the Night boldly took the keys to the underground and unlocked the future of nightlife.

Unmuted launched The Night with “Unmute The City”, using their broad-based knowledge of the music industry to craft otherworldly experiences.

Other Village People introduced the world of “Queertopia” to the underground, curating a nightlife experience that deconstructed societal norms and structures and celebrated all forms of expression.

Kombonation used “Kaofela Kaofela” to create a space that bridged the gap between people from different walks of life, using raw visual storytelling to showcase the unfiltered and seldomly celebrated beauty of Kasi culture.

DormantYouth introduced the unique landscape of contemporary Johannesburg Nightlife through “Groove Biennale”, rewriting The Night with architectural structures, fresh alternative electronic sound and performances.

We created a home where there is a place in the Night for everyone.
